India Art Fair, New Delhi

 
Dates: Feb 2-5, 2017
 
The largest contemporary art event in South Asia is all set to take place at the NSIC Exhibition Complex in Okhla, New Delhi. It will feature exquisite works of visual arts from the region’s established and emerging artists. The 4-day programme includes influencer talks, curated walks, and film screenings as well.

Sula Fest, Nasik

 
Dates: Feb 3 – 5, 2017
 
Our favorite wine fest is celebrating 10 years of existence and it promises to be bigger and better than ever before with musical performances by 120+ artists including Nucleya, Bloc Party, and Indian Ocean. So put your party shoes on and get read to eat, drink, and dance till you drop.

Udaipur World Music Festival

 
Dates: Feb 10 – 12, 2017
 
The second edition of the Udaipur World Music Festival promises more zing and fervor than last year with a lineup of 150 artists from over 16 countries performing everything from Sufi and traditional African songs to Jazz and Trance. The vibrant city of lakes will be the perfect backdrop for electrifying performances by Kailash Kher, Kabir Café, and Officina Zoe, amongst many others.

Khajuraho Dance Festival

 
Dates: Feb 20 – 26, 2017
 
Khajuraho is famous for its sensational Hindu and Jain temples depicting thousands of incredibly intricate and erotic carvings of the Kama Sutra and other ancient arts celebrating religion and history. The week long festival celebrates various Indian dance forms from Odissi and Kuchipudi to Bharatnatyam and Kathak against the backdrop of these glorious temples.

Goa Carnival

 
Dates: Feb 25 – 28, 2017
 
Not like we need another reason to go to Goa but the state is at its festive best during the colorful Carnival. The 4-day extravaganza dates back to the 18th century when the Portuguese introduced it to Goa. It’s four days of non-stop revelry where people dance, sing, and parade merrily in the streets amidst brilliantly colored floats and masks.
